Dr. Maryia Aissi provides excellent, gentle dental care in a relaxed environment. She believes communication and compassion are key when discussing comprehensive treatment plans with patients. With her strong belief that informed patients are better equipped to make the best decisions about their dental health and well-being, Dr. Maryia seeks to educate her patients through a thoughtful, clear approach.
She strives to create an atmosphere where patients are comfortable asking questions. Her mission is to provide all her patients at Coastal Cosmetic & Implant Dentistry with excellent care, focusing on prevention and encouraging a lifetime of healthy smiles.

Dr. Maryia began her higher education at the College of William and Mary, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. Dr. Maryia then went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) from the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry. Staying true to her passion for learning, she pursued and completed a postgraduate General Practice Residency program at Carilion Clinic in Roanoke.
One of many reasons Dr. Maryia chose to join the family at Coastal Cosmetic & Implant Dentistry is her firm dedication to lifelong learning. She believes all professionals must continue studying, learning, and growing. She actively participates in continuing education courses that range from dental surgery and cosmetic dentistry to Invisalign. Dr. Aissi remains active in the dental community by maintaining memberships in both the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry.
In addition to her passion for her work, Dr. Maryia enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends. When not in the office, you can find her traveling to explore new cultures and languages, home cooking new and interesting dishes in her kitchen, or trying her hand at a new sport.
