Growing up in Virginia Beach, I always knew I wanted to serve this amazing community and I feel so blessed to be able to do so through dentistry. I grew up in the Pungo area of the city, graduating from Kellam High School before attending James Madison University and the Old Dominion University, where I graduated Magna Cum Laude with my Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Hygiene in 2006.
Since then, I have practiced full time as a Dental Hygienist right here in Virginia Beach. I am passionate about building caring, genuine relationships with my patients as we work together to achieve their goals for dental and overall health.
My husband, who serves our community as a Firefighter for the City of Virginia Beach, and I are the proud parents of three small children: big brother Hunter and twins, Leighton and Carter. In our spare time, we enjoy being together as a family and love being active outdoors.
I am a native to this beautiful city and grew up in the Haygood area. I always knew I had the passion to work in the medical field early on in life. As high school graduation neared, I was able to narrow down my interest to Dentistry. The idea of oral health and wellness in relation to full body health intrigued me. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene and graduated Magnum Cum Lade from Old Dominion University in 2009, and have been working as a Registered Dental Hygienist since. Establishing patient relationships and trust is what I strive for on a daily basis. I enjoy each and every unique interaction and love being a part of the journey each patient commits to in order to achieve and maintain their oral health.
On my down time, I enjoy spending every minute possibly with my two children, Cayson and Harper, and my husband, Danny. In the summer, you will most definitely find us on the beach, or in our backyard cooking out!
Born in the Sunshine State, Jamie attended Manatee Technical Institute and graduated with honors as a Certified Dental Assistant. Jamie found her calling within the community working to promote oral health and participating in physical events for charity. Jamie’s favorite part about working in Dentistry is being a contributing factor of patients grinning ear to ear.
Jamie’s husband and her recently moved from the Lone Star state with our energetic Wheaten Terrier dog, Chief. Jamie is passionate about painting with watercolors and find myself outdoors on hikes or at the beach. Jamie’s blessed to be a part of this team and she looks forward to working with you!
I am a California native who moved to Virginia to support my husband’s naval career. I received my certification through Practical Dental Assisting of Virginia Beach in 2011. Since then, my passion and knowledge for the dental field have grown exponentially.
My favorite thing to do in the office is making patients feel comfortable and reassuring them that the dentist chair is nothing to be afraid of. The all-star team at Coastal Cosmetic Dentistry shares that dedication to patient’s care. Other passions of mine include astrology, movies, cooking, working out and being with my pups Maverick and Charlie.
Born and raised in Virginia Beach, I had dentistry influenced upon me early on with a mother who is a dental assistant. I spent my afternoons in her dental office after school and when it came time for me to start a career, it just felt right to transition into dentistry myself. I enjoy building relationships with patients and helping provide clear expectations of care. Over the years I have had the opportunity to participate in many administrative roles in the dental office and have found that helping patients navigate the financial aspects of their care to be most rewarding. I enjoy learning new ways to help the office and our patients better understand their insurance benefits and limitations as well as facilitating the introduction of the newest techniques and procedures in our field.
When I am not helping patients reach their goals for their smile and wellness, you will most likely find me on the ball field cheering on my kids. I enjoy restoring and refinishing furniture, painting and spending time with those I love most. My husband Scott, our children Cailyn, Nathan and Addison and I reside in the heart of Kempsville.
Lacey is from Atlanta, Georgia! She and her husband relocated to Virginia Beach with his career in the Navy. She has two dogs named Roxy and Wren. Lacey has been in the dental industry for 6 years and is cross-trained as a Dental assistant and Business team member.
Lauren is a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH). She graduated from Old Dominion University with a Bachelors Degree in Science (BSDH) in 2011 with honors. Although she has such a passion for dental hygiene, Lauren is currently serving as our Chief Communications Officer. She absolutely loves helping stay on top of the latest technology and trends which adds to great internal office communication.
When Lauren is not at the office she enjoys spending time with her husband, Dr. Sinclair, and their newborn son Ryder. Being a native of Virginia Beach, she can often be found hanging out the beach or taking any number of different fitness classes.
I was born and raised in the Kempsville area of Virginia Beach, where I currently still reside with my family. I earned my Bachelors of Science in Dental Hygiene degree from Old Dominion University in 2003 and my Masters of Science in Dental Hygiene in 2004. I enjoy the personal day to day interaction with patients in the private practice setting and strive to provide unique and personal service to each patient. Life-long learning is something I proudly believe in and am committed to sharing my knowledge through quality patient care and education, especially in implant care and maintenance. My clinical and communications experience has now transferred into an administrative role which allows me the opportunity to be a liaison for patients and our team. I love helping others achieve their goals!
In my free time I enjoy spending family time with my husband Chuck and our children, Trent, Mallory and Cassidy. When we aren’t playing outside or participating in local recreational sports, you can find us serving up snacks at local events in Hampton Roads with our concessionary business, “Keep It Poppin Kettle Corn.”
